Human Communications is a consulting firm, founded by James Rafferty, which advises clients on emerging telecommunications technologies and helps them to plan, design and implement highly competitive products and services and create innovative marketing content. The firm specializes in Voice over IP, WebRTC, Voice over LTE and facsimile communications technology. It helps clients with the integration of emerging messaging, multimedia and network technologies, including the Internet and wireless networks. In addition to consulting services, HC was the publisher of the well known fax and Internet standards newsletter, Human Communications Digest and a report-oriented publication, Human Communications Standards Update. The firm also conducts public and private executive briefings on the business and technical aspects of telecommunications technology and standards. Human Communications co-developed courses on Group 3 fax technology and Internet Fax in a joint venture with fax testing leader Genoa Technology (now QualityLogic).
