Hunter Hillel
Hunter College Hillel offers exciting and interesting programming around arts and culture. We work closely with Avoda Arts: Arts on the Move, to create exciting new programming for all students, not just those with a special talent for the arts. One of our main programs last year was Taboo Jew, a photo exhibition that took a hard look at the various ways of being Jewish. Photographs of the exhibit can be found on this website. We also hosted an Israeli Film Festival, showing both classic and contemporary Israeli films. We even had a Shabbat Dinner at the Dorms with Lois Stravsky, who followed street art in Israel from all sides of politics. Ideas and visions are always welcome!
