HUXHUX Design
HUXHUX is a design studio dedicated to exceptional architecture, interior design, & furniture. Located in New York City, we strive for smart design that marries art, architecture, and any number of other disciplines that come our way for any given project. Justin Huxol, founder of HUXHUX, received his M.Arch from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design. Upon graduating the GSD, he received a Sheldon Traveling Fellowship from Harvard University to study Olympic Legacy in host cities around the world. He has worked professionally with/for Bill Price, MOS-Office, Preston Scott Cohen, Rem Koolhaas at OMA Rotterdam, REX, and William Rawn Associates in Boston. He received his undergraduate degree from Brown University in Environmental Studies. He has 4+ years of experience in design-build here in New York City, with projects ranging from luxury retail to residential to hospitality. This experience provides HUXHUX with expert knowledge in design fabrication of numerous and varied projects. He recently finished co-hosting a show for HGTV, called Shop This Room. The range of scope in terms of design and budget from these varied experiences, coupled with Huxol's training in architecture, afford a unique position for HUXHUX to operate a full-service design firm to meet the unique demands of New Yorkers seeking exceptional spaces of their own. Huxol is currently leading HUXHUX Design while teaching Interior Design at Parsons New School for Design.
