The Harpeth Valley Utilities District is a nonprofit public utility providing water and wastewater services to customers in portions of Davidson, Williamson and Cheatham Counties, Tennessee. Over 17,000 drinking water service customers, including: Residences and businesses in the District's service area City of Brentwood City of Franklin City of Fairview HB&TS Utility District Mallory Valley Utility District Milcrofton Utility District River Road Utility District Over nine billion gallons of drinking water pumped per year 402+ miles of drinking water lines in place 22 million gallons of drinking water reservoir capacity 62 million gallons per day drinking water treatment capacity Eight drinking water booster stations Over 13,800 wastewater service customers Treating more than one billion gallons of wastewater per year 229+ miles of wastewater lines in place 30 wastewater lift stations The District was formed and organized in 1959 pursuant to the Utilities District Law of 1937, Tennessee Code Annotated Section 7-82-101, et seq.
