HyVal Industries was established in 1978 by founder and President William P. Tinder, LCDR, USN Ret. with partner and Vice President Alice P. Bailey. William B. Tinder the eldest of two son's assumed the helm in 2006 and current President Brian D. Tinder assumed the helm in 2007. Brian a graduate of Virginia Tech and Certified ISO Quality Manager has accelerated HyVal Industries commitment to achieving and remaining an ISO compliant company in the ship repair industry. From the beginning the objective of the business has been to provide hydraulic repairs and service to shipyards having Master Ship Repair Contracts(MSRC) with the government for repairs to Navy and Military Sealift Command vessels. Over the past 30 years HyVal Industries has amassed a lengthy resume' of repairs and services on both commercial and military vessels. HyVal's expertise encompasses most major hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, and mechanical systems found on marine vessels. HyVal Industries ability to perform efficient high quality workmanship and interact as a valuable team player has earn the respect and confidence of it's prime contract holders, partners and customers throughout the ship repair industry.
