The Ian Harrington Group has a proud and rich history as a privately owned and operated Tasmanian company. The initial founder of Roadways, Ian Harrington was a pioneer. A hard worker, an industry leader and visionary, he established his small business more than 50 years ago and with a commitment to quality and customer service and developed it into a statewide icon. Today, the Ian Harrington Group stretches its network statewide with long standing members Roadways, Statewide Linemarking and the newly acquired business, Protector Rail and Rockit Asphalting. With a workforce of more than 70 Tasmanians spread out across the state from Hobart and Burnie, we proudly remain Tasmanian owned and operated, and an intrinsic part of the Tasmanian community fabric.
