ODNS has been training qualified practitioners in the theory and skill of trigger point dry needling for 15 years throughout the UK, South Africa, India, and the Middle East. In 2013, they began offering courses in the US. ODNS teach the most comprehensive and inclusive courses available, with emphasis on using the latest evidence, while embracing all the various dry needling theories and techniques. We teach an integrated approach to Trigger point needling and pathology, providing the student with a thorough understanding of the MTrP and how it is affected by Dry Needling. Our live workshops are competency-based 2 day seminars with a strong emphasis on practical application. All courses are credentialed for physical therapists, with CEU's awarded by the APTA at the state level. ODNS courses are all strongly practical in nature with good participant - facilitator ratios and are supported by a comprehensive manual. We conduct high quality, evidence based courses with experienced physiotherapists as lecturers and assistants. The goal of the Dry Needling Level 2 course is to gain expertise in needling the more delicate and higher risk areas in the body, including the face and anterior neck, forearm and hand, lower leg and foot, thorax and abdominal wall. It is a competency-based course, which will introduce more of the recent research, teach the use of estim with needles, and ends with a competency exam. Dry Needling II is taught with one day online and two days live. Dry Needling II with cadaver is taught with one day online and 2 1/2 days live.
