The Institute performs interdisciplinary research at the interface of biology, physics and chemistry, and combines: • basic science • applied science and • technical innovation Our research themes, grouped around 3 research programs, are developed within eighteen groups. The IBS employs approximately 260 people. IBS scientists are active in training of undergraduate, master and PhD students and more than 20 Professors and Assistant Professors teach at the University Grenoble Alpes.
