Founded in 1986, IC&E has continually and successfully grown its specialty industrial business such that it has national reach and works within and across many different markets. IC&E has expanded from purely mechanical insulation installation at its beginning to offer other services including: Industrial Wall and Roof installation, Scaffolding, Heat Trace, IMP Duct Work, painting & coating as well as pipe marking. Privately held by Larry and Jeff DeGraaf, with the second generation of their families actively involved in every facet of the business, IC&E continues to expand its influence within the insulation industry through active involvement in industry professional groups such as NIA and MICA, participation in the technical committee responsible for the publication of the MICA manual, considered a top reference for industry best practices for the installation of mechanical insulation. IC&E now has three locations in addition to the headquarters in St. Peters, Missouri with field operations located in Blair, Nebraska; additional estimating out of Indianapolis, Indiana, and the newest addition to our family, Commercial Insulation Company in Jacksonville, Florida. Along with the continued investment the company growth, ownership remains focused on providing a safe and friendly work environment with the goal of conducting every activity in a safe manner to insure that the employees and trades around our operations allow all to go home safe and secure to live a better tomorrow.
