ICOS is a risk and controls consultancy firm founded in 2012. Our main objective is to improve corporate governance standards in the alternative investments industry by applying new risk focused management controls to the board of a fund. ICOS can not only provide a number of independent board members to sit on fund boards, but will ensure that they are certified according to its code of conduct and standards and follow a dedicated risk approach which is one of a kind in the industry. ICOS is not a directors service firm and all directors appointed through ICOS are independent and negotiate their fees directly with the fund. ICOS ensures that the correct risk approach is applied to the board with the ultimate benefit of the investor in mind. The company also ensures that no communication gap exists between the fund, investors and service providers.
