Idia Renaissance

IDIA RENAISSANCE is a non-government, non-profit, apolitical, non-religious organization established since July 8th 1999 working through Research, Education and Enlightenment to restore the dignity of Women, Young persons and Children in Nigeria. It is an initiative of Mrs. Eki Igbinedion,Chief Lucky Nosakhare Igbinedion, wife of the former Executive Governor of Edo State. It was born out of her determined effort to combat the scourge of Human Trafficking,HIV/AIDS, Prostitution, Drug Abuse, Cultism, Youth restiveness and to challenge Society to be more responsive to the needs and aspirations of the less privileged with a view to restoring hope and dignity to the lives of Children, Youth and Women. Idia Renaissance adopts Preventive and Curative approaches to solving the problem of Human Trafficking and other related social, economic and health issues.
