The Industrial Diesel & Railway Preservation Group
We also aim to educate the public in the history and operation of all aspects of the railway scene weather that be mechanical workings of locomotives and equipment to the history of lines. Since the summer of 2019 our locomotive has been at Rocks by Rail (Cotesmore, Rutland) and as a result we are spending alot of time there. It is our pleasure to be able to help RBR with their restoration and maintenance projects and we have had great fun helping on their operating days. The group has a variety of skills including mechanical, electrical, joinery, painting and lining, to name but a few. As a group we rely on contributions from you, the general public and from our membership subscriptions. With the aid of your support we can succeed. If you would like to become a member and support our group then please visit our membership page. If you believe that we can help with one of your projects or want more information then please get in touch with us at [email protected]. Our Working Location
