We focus on five research programs: The Economics of Entrepreneurship, Firm Competitiveness, the Economics of the Service Sector, Sustainable Energy Transition, and Institutions, Markets and Enterprise. Currently, 40 researchers with doctoral degrees in economics are working at IFN, of which 8 are Professors and 14 Associate Professors. In addition, 4 research assistants and 7 Ph.D. students are affiliated with the institute. The Research Institute of Industrial Economics (IFN) seeks candidates for one tenure-track academic research position in economics starting in 2022. We are flexible about the start date. We are looking for candidates with a keen interest in issues of relevance to the business sector and policy, and a special focus on the firm or its workers as the central unit of analysis. We welcome applications from junior as well as senior researchers. Fluency in Swedish is a strong merit. Candidates must have a Ph.D. by the start of employment.
