iHear Network is a Seattle-based company creating innovative ways to access content on your smartphone. Our iHear Network app keeps you connected to your social news streams through our enhanced text...-to-speech processing software, reading your social feeds out loud. Ours is a company and product built around accessibility; we've designed and built iHear Network for the vision-impaired and the multi-taskers and everyone else looking for a better way to engage with the world around them. Three passionate entrepreneurs with over 40 years of professional experience make up the iHear Network team. Our developers have contributed to over $35 million dollars worth of exits for previous ventures (Privacy Bank, Chintano), and have extensive experience with information retrieval. iHear Network is currently working with accessibility researchers to better understand the needs of the visually impaired. We feel that lessons learned from this community will lead to further insights into how to design a better mobile experience for people on the go. With over 82 million smartphone users and a visually impaired population of over 50 million in the U.S., we see a great opportunity to make a real difference in how people keep connected to news and information they care most about. We also hope iHear Network app can be the number one option for drivers, and hopefully help reduce the growing amount of accidents due to distracted driving.
