The Illinois Asphalt Pavement Association is a not-for-profit trade association composed of Hot Mix Asphalt producers (and affiliated companies) serving the Illinois market. Formed in 1938 as the Illinois Bituminous Distributors , the name was changed in 1941 to the Illinois Blacktop Roads Association, and ultimately renamed the Illinois Asphalt Pavement Association in 1967. We've consolidated a lot of information into this site, with the intent to help viewers locate and access factual information about Asphalt and it's many benefits.
