A strong, unified voice for standards, policy, and funding, AIRA is a resource for data exchange standards development, information sharing, and education/training for IIS managers and staff. Who are AIRA's members? AIRA is mostly an organization of IIS staff working in health departments, with other organizations, such as IIS implementers, nonprofits, and others, with an interest in IIS. There are currently more than 85 organization members representing over 689 individuals. How do members participate in AIRA's efforts? AIRA's activities are carried out by members who participate on a variety of AIRA workgroups. There are other ways to get involved with AIRA, including participating in AIRA Discovery Sessions. Discovery Sessions review relevant topics targeted to newer IIS managers, staff, and those new to the IIS community.
