It has been ranked as the 4th best business school of Pakistan by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in its ranking of public and private universities/institutes. This ranking also makes it the best business school of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The ranking was based on the implementation status of quality assurance, teaching excellence, and research work at the universities/institutes.IMSciences is the among few business schools of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which has been accredited in "W" category for its BBA and MBA programs by the National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC). As a public sector Institute, it is markedly different from others because it is fully autonomous and self governing.
