Indaba Coffee
INDABA is a community-oriented coffee shop located in the West Central Neighborhood of Spokane, WA. We roast specialty coffee from multiple origins, provide on the job training to at-risk youth, host community events, and donate a meal for every bag of coffee sold. Where did the name INDABA come from? In 2007, founder Bobby Enslow traveled to South Africa and worked in an HIV/AIDS Hospice facility. This experience made an impact on his life and when he was searching for a name, he chose "INDABA", tying his past experiences into his dreams for the coffee shop. What does INDABA mean? INDABA is a Zulu word that refers to a gathering of leaders to discuss important matters. This word is at the heart of our mission: to unite different people groups (i.e. tribes) across West Central, Spokane, and the World...one cup at a time.
