Indiana Cardinal

Indiana Cardinal is a lay institution that works to bring harmony between Church and State. Our primary goal is to create and sustain a support system for the Church by actively engaging in our work and secular affairs. The Church needs the laity's work and effort to inspire a transformational affect aimed at renewing a moral and virtuous society, especially in America. It is the special vocation of lay persons "to unite the two harmoniously, remembering that in every temporal affair they are to be guided by a Christian conscience, since no human activity, even of the temporal order, can be withdrawn from God's dominion" (CCC 912). We ask Our Blessed Mother's intercession because it is through her that we will succeed in this mission and eventually be able to overcome the social, politic, and economic vices of our time. For it is in true solidarity with each other, that our state of Indiana, our country of the United States of America, and our world will come to know the peace of Christ. Fulfilling this mission includes two aspects: A Cardinal Devotion: This centers around the Purity Medal which encompasses our belief and devotion to Christ, through His Mother. If we want to make a lasting effect on our country and eventually our world, are foundation needs to be built off of faith and trust in God and the intercession of Our Mother. By making a firm Consecration to her, having a firm resolve to live a life of greater purity, and participating in an Offering pleasing to God, we will be one step closer to renewing humanity for Christ. An Indiana Militia Movement: By establishing a foundation of faith, we can then move forward in mission and movement. Beginning with our United States of America, from the first moments of its birth, it was founded upon a harmonious balance between Church and State. However, over the years, this harmony has been broken and the Church has lost its voice. We have a right to form a Militia Movement, a Militia that will not only attempt to restore the Christian Social Order our country was founded on, but to defend the sovereignty of each State, the Federal Constitution, and uphold the Churches voice within society. In the Second Amendment, it states that, "A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. Thus, we have a right and duty to form a Militia which will help secure, not only our religious freedoms, but also our economic, political, and social freedoms as well. With God's help, this Militia Movement can become a leading instrument towards renewing America, and ultimately the entire world, to greatness.
