The Indiana Institute of Technology is a private non-profit, Ph.D.-granting university located in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana, United States. In 1930 Indiana Technical College was founded by John A. Kalbfleisch. A year later in 1931, the first classes were held in former mortuary on East Washington Boulevard.
