Indochina Junk

Indochina Junk Company is one of the first companies in Ha Long Bay raise the awareness of responsible tourism. Since 2007, we have operated the program "For a green Ha Long Bay" with aim to support local community and environment. One of the projects in this program is "collecting rubbish on surface water of Ha Long Bay", the task is simple but require a patient effort from both Indochina Junk and local people. It is more important to raise awareness of local people to protect their own residence. In this blog post, we intend to update project process and result. We prepare more than 20 rubbish collecting nets, the rubbish floating on the water will be collected by tour guide, local people and visitors. Each visitor joining trip with Indochina Junk also becomes a responsible tourist.
