IVL offered a technical alternative that the market really needed, for many years the technical know-how was suffering from the catalogue and reference number suppliers. Every employee at IVL has many years of experience within the industry, they are technical experts in one or more of the product ranges offered and supplied by our group of companies. As a group we have started to bring back British manufacturing, we manufacture at our head office in the West Midlands. This greatly reduces lead times, quality is to the highest standards and we bring the manufacturing skills back to the UK. IVL Flow-Control Ltd was set up in March of 2012, to take the industry to another level, with our advanced range of products manufactured to the highest European standards. Through the knowledge and years of experience, gained by Craig Stanners and Martyn Redman, of a distribution system, we have created a design and solution for an autonomous network. This is achieved by utilising the hydraulics in the system, 'the force of water as you will'. With this type of distribution network we can get full control on pressure management and leakage issues, via intelligent software and the utilisation of an intelligent control room operating key nodes throughout the system. Many manufacturers have been supplying pressure reducing valves into the water industry for many years without really offering a design solution to look at what is really needed to be achieved at that point in the network. In doing this it has created further issues in and around that application. IVL Flow-Control with their design skills and knowledge have produced a range of multi-functional demand control valves, they do not just reduce pressure but sustain it. Before any valve or pipeline configuration is proposed to the water company a full network synopsis is gathered. From the data gathered we will construct a cell formation to protect the network at all vital installations and key assets points within the distribution system. From this point we will take our findings to the analysts within the water companies and produce a plan to achieve the most future proof distribution system that is not just autonomous, but it will also include full telemetry, water tubility and greener solutions that incorporate our difgen system. This will reduce the carbon footprint of all assets, and will also offer a spend to save strategy on all new design solutions offered by IVL Flow-Control, in as little as 12 months pay back.
