Infixion Bioscience launched in 2018 exclusively to develop treatments for Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1). T he mission of Infixion Bioscience, a San Diego based biotech company, is to develop treatments to eradicate NF1, a rare genetic disorder impacting 1 in 3000 people worldwide. Our focus is to correct the underlying genetic 'mechanism of action' in NF1, namely the lack of functional Neurofibromin protein, by enhancing the NF1-affected person's natural ability to both produce and maintain healthy Neurofibromin protein. By doing so, we believe we can fundamentally impact disease progression, including all symptom manifestations, and do so in a preventative manner.
