Initialize Films

Since then most of Initialize's work is and has been commissioned by national film funds - including Creative Scotland, Danish Film Institute, Swedish Film Institute, Norwegian Film Institute, Finnish Film Foundation and Screen Australia - which hire Initialize to work with a number of producers to help them with their international strategies and to get their films financed / distributed. We have a very high success rate and have helped more than 30 feature films get financed / distributed since 2008 as well as a handful of TV projects. Many films have been selected at leading film festivals, have won awards and have sold well internationally. As well as our work brokering deals Initialize also runs conferences on film and TV finance at the major film markets, as well as networking functions. More recently Initialize head Ian Davies set up a finance and production company Boudica Films with Rebecca Long which has since co-financed 2 feature films, The Falling (including partners BBC, BFI) and Swung (co-financed by Creative Scotland).
