Instrumedical Technologies, Inc. is a privately held company specializing in the manufacture of high quality, close tolerance instrumentation and implants for the medical industry. Founded in 1982, Instrumedical Technologies, also known as Instru-med, began with a concentration in tool and die machining. As demand for medical instruments increased, Instru-med expanded and continued its concentration within the orthopedic industry to become a major tier-one supplier to orthopedic and spine companies globally. In 1992, Instru-med was granted an initial registration of Device Establishment from the Food and Drug Administration. This provided the foundation of our comprehensive Quality System and resulted in additional certifications including ISO 13485:2003.
