International Beverage Management

The partners of International Beverage Management represent nearly 100 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. The majority of time spent in creative development and marketing. David Thwaites - David was the founder and Chairman of the Board of International Beverage Management. This was the culmination of his long career in the soft drink industry. David rose through the ranks of technical development with several beverage companies over 40 years to come to Canada Dry UK and International as VP Technical Operations worldwide! After leading I.B.M. for many years, David passed away on March 10, 2015. We will strive to continue his passion for the beverage industry and our customers. Brian Walker Ph.D. - Brian graduated B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Glasgow in Scotland. He started his career in the basic research group at Unilever PLC in England. He joined Cadbury Schweppes PLC, in 1982, in the role of Senior Emulsion Technologist. There, he developed a range of flavor and color delivery technologies, enabling application of natural coloring, and in-house flavors to beverage formulations. In 1988 Brian transferred to the beverage product development group, where he led teams, based in the UK and US, responsible for new product and line extensions. Brian became Director of Product Development in 1994 and VP of Product Development in 1998 at the Cadbury global beverage R&D Center. Over the next 10 years, in various VP roles, he broadened the scope of his R&D leadership with Cadbury, taking responsibility for the entire range of R&D functions. Brian joined I.B.M. as partner and Technical Director in 2009. Dianne Hustus - Dianne graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BS in Management in 1983 and an MBA in 1986. Most of her professional career has been in sales and marketing for the food and beverage industry, and publishing. Dianne joined I.B.M. as Commercial Director in 2008 and was designated President in 2013. Our hard working and highly experienced applications team is rounded out withSharon McCluskey, (Technical Manager),April Bartmon (Product Development Scientist). And, fiinancial duties by Kathleen Thwaites. We are all looking forward to putting our experience to work for you!
