INVENT GmbH has held the Nadcap accreditation certificate for fibre composite production since 24.02.2014. INVENT GmbH is the first supplier in Germany to receive this international accreditation. Nadcap is a worldwide cooperative programme between leading companies and government agencies and has set itself the goal of introducing a standardised approach to quality assurance for the aerospace, automotive and defence industries. The primary objectives of the programme are on the one hand to establish stricter quality standards in order to improve the quality of products supplied and on the other hand to develop more efficient and lower cost accreditation by unifying the qualification audits. In order to achieve these goals, qualified auditors with explicit technical knowledge are employed to carry out detailed audits, particularly for special procedures such as composite production. For INVENT GmbH the Nadcap accreditation, which was awarded in February 2014, is a recognition of the quality objectives which we had already achieved and is a logical extension of our philosophy of quality. Taking the international certifications DIN EN ISO 9001 : 2008 and DIN EN 9100 : 2009 as a starting point, the Nadcap accreditation represents the highest possible level of qualification for processes and products in fibre composite production at the present time.
