At IPMS, Dr. Christensen continues to provide Alaskan families with personal, specialized care - including sports injuries and rehabilitation. He also performs immigration and industrial physicals as well as all classes of FAA physicals. He is currently on staff at both Providence and Alaska Regional Hospitals. An outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Christensen enjoys fishing and hunting in the Alaskan bush. Married since 1969, his wife Linda works with him as his full-time nurse. Together, their love of travel and dedication to medicine has led them to participate in mission trips to far-flung points around the world. During their most recent trip to remote communities in Guatemala, they treated more than one hundred underserved villagers in just a few days. As the father of two adult sons, and grandfather of five, Dr. Christensen brings a true family perspective to his practice. He maintains full-time office hours and accepts most new patients.
