IPS Academy

IPS Academy was established in 1994 under the aegis of Indore Education & Services Society (IESS) (Registered under Societies Act of 1973 No. 18124 dated 20.4.1987). Although in its infancy it has established its name which is to be reckoned with in the state of MP in general and Malwa region in particular. The overall progress has been possible under the able guidance of all the personalities of the Management particularly of Mr. A. K. Choudhary the President and Late Shri R. C. Porwal the Secretary. The growing population, awareness about the education and demand arising out of it and diversification of specialized fields has put the pressure on educational fields. IESS has tried to ameliorate the problem in a modest way. Education plays a pivotal role in the overall growth of the nation and is an important instrument of a change. The quality of life and status of development is measured by GNDP which in turn depends upon the technical manpower, technological development etc. in the country. In short the technical education is a nucleus of a nation's prosperity. The Govt. realizing this helped in creating a good environment for the development of education in particular through privatization. Thus, now our country is one of the largest producers of literate manpower in technical manpower. Since the privatization and the demand for technical manpower i.e. providing opportunity of education to one and all synchronized, the IESS seized the opportunity of opening technical courses and also basic traditional courses under one umbrella by name INDORE PROFESSIONAL STUDIES ACADEMY (IPS ACADEMY). School of Computers & Electronics (SOC&E) , IPS Academy was setup in 1994 for providing high quality computer education in the country. The college (ranked as 'A' grade) is among the top ten MCA colleges in the state, situated in the educational hub (i.e. Indore ) of MP state. The School in its 12 years of existence has trained more than a thousand Alumni who have imbibed technical knowledge to work globally . These professionals with sound knowledge in the field of computing and with other skills needed for efficient working in the organizations and above all respect for human & National values have attained respectability in the organizations in which they are working. The task- of SOC & E is uncannily similar to that of a present day organization. Like any successful corporation it takes raw material i.e. the fresh student uses its processes to add value to that input and produces output, who is designed to meet the needs of the customer I.e. the recruiter. This mission is carried out by seminars, workshops, interactive sessions and brainstorming discussions that keep the grey cells rolling in rapid coordination. he institute conducts rigorous sessions with eminent IT professionals and academicians, which promotes intellectual growth among students. Thus, inculcating an interactive work and academic environment. Bringing about logic with applied techniques of management requires crystal clear concept building-a process which we' have dedicated ourselves thoroughly. Hence our students are kept abreast with contemporary development and emerging issues in various areas of industry with dynamic global scenario.
