International School of Curitiba
ISC is a non-profit educational institute. Each year the school spends 70% of tuition fees paying for the best teachers hired from overseas or locally and 30% on operational costs. DOESN'T THE ASSOCIATION CONTRIBUTION COVER MAJOR SCHOOL IMPROVEMENTS? No it doesn't. The Association Contribution generates close to R$1 million per year, at current enrollment levels, and is directed towards covering maintenance, technology advancements and some smaller facility improvements. Our plans for facility enhancements and campus expansion over the next 5-10 years are projected to cost in excess of R$30 million. Considering it takes 10 years to generate just R$10 million from the Association Contributions, we simply can't wait to generate money from this amount alone. We must therefore seek to raise substantial additional funds each year for priority areas of enhancement, via the Advancement Program. HOW DO THE PTA AND BOOSTER CLUB & ADVANCEMENT FUNDRAISING WORK TOGETHER? Our PTA and Booster Club fully support the goals of the ISC Annual Fund, and each year raise money for specific projects within the Annual Fund, ensuring we all work towards a common goal in all the fundraising we do.
