Island Rock

Island Rock is a state-of-the-art indoor rock climbing facility on Long Island built by Solid Rock Wall Systems / Rockwerx. With over 14,000 square feet of climbing, Island Rock boasts over 120 top rope routes, over 120 boulder problems, and over 40 lead routes all set by world class, USAC setters. Island Rock expanded and renovated in 2017 to add: over 5,000 sq feet of climbing; a custom built climbing training area with adjustable Moonboard, campus area, and hangboard section; new strength training area; new cardio area; ninja training; yoga/party/fitness room; and an expanded pro shop. Originally built in 1996, Island Rock has been leading the Long Island climbing community for over two decades. The mission of the facility is to provide an inspirational environment to develop and explore a passion for climbing among a welcoming, close-knit community of other climbers.
