Husband and wife team Peter and Michelle Flint bought Island Stone NZ from one of the kiwi founders of the original business in 2005. Like the international company, Island Stone NZ has grown and changed a lot since those early days. Our team of nearly 20 boasts a considerable amount of knowledge and experience in tiles and claddings, especially when it comes to natural stone. And there's a lot to know! Each type of stone has its own unique structure and characteristics, these can influence where and how the stone can be used, how to install it and how to care for it. We're only a phone call or an email away from being able to answer your question or provide some advice, and if the person answering the phone can't help you straight away, they'll find someone who can. Also like our parent company, Island Stone New Zealand is committed to bringing our customers new ways of having a slice of nature wherever they live, work or play. For us that includes continuing to develop our range of New Zealand stone claddings. There's just something about knowing that the stone originated from deep within the ground in our special corner of the earth.
