International Shipping Limited (ISL), established since 1997, offers specialized services in freight forwarding, intermodal transportation, consolidation, marine insurance, customs brokerage and logistics from any part of the world to and from The Caribbean. Since its inception, our company has undergone intense and consistent growth, establishing itself as one of the leading freight forwarders in Trinidad and Tobago. ISL's success lies in our emphasis on accessibility and customer satisfaction. The professional staff of 65 understand the intricacies of the business, and are sensitive to customers' constantly evolving needs. To meet these needs, we have expanded our portfolio of services to include project management, in-house customs brokerage and local transportation, thus offering the complete package: door to door service. Service levels are further enhanced through our relationships with foreign business partners. ISL are line agents for one of the largest global carriers in the world, Evergreen Line. We are also the exclusive representative in the Caribbean for the Projects Professional Group (PPG) which is a worldwide network of experienced professional companies that handle principally heavy, out of gauge (OOG) project logistics. We also represent W.M Shipping Ltd. from the UK, Aeromarine Canada, TGD Worldwide and Pier 17 (Central America)who operate offices and warehouses in major world ports. Additionally we are the representatives in the Caribbean for JAS Forwarding Worldwide - Oil and Gas, another powerful logistics partner focussing on project cargo. Having developed specialized skills and strategic alliances, ISL attracts, and successfully manages, several large projects primarily within the industrial energy sector. For this, charters of aircrafts, trains, ships and barges have been arranged to transport all types of unconventional cargo. ISL moved ever closer to its customer satisfaction goal in 2011 when we opened our own customs bonded warehouse in EL Socorro, Trinidad, which complements the other services offered. Continued integration followed in July 2015 when a strategic decision was taken and the doors of International Shipping USA Inc. were opened in Florida, USA, facilitating full control over our valued customers' shipments from beginning to final release at destination.
