Murdock Memorials

The continuing desire at Ivan Murdock & Sons to offer the triangle and wider North Coast community the best services possible, means we are constantly improving all facets of our business. Every effort is taken to ensure that the bereavement process, while very traumatic, will be as hassle free as possible. The reception area is bright and inviting with a new large selection of floral tributes, a recent innovation is our sympathy card stand, also signed mass cards are now readily available, one of the few places left in the area where they can be purchased. Adjacent to the public office are private interview rooms where clients can spend time arranging every aspect of a funeral in full privacy and strict confidentially. These rooms double up as private viewing rooms, again for small groups to come and spend time with a loved one in total privacy. For larger groups we have a family suite which can accommodate 10 - 12 people for the arranging process. Tea, coffee and snacks are always available and the kettle is never off the boil. Stringent efforts have also been made to improve the memorials side of the business. We have recently started to import memorials directly at source from India, not only has it improved the quality of our product it has also facilitated a greater range of headstones, surrounds, bases and vases. French hand made ceramic flowers imported direct from the continent enhance the range of products available and our showroom has an extensive range of both. The decision to ship direct from source means that we are able to pass on a great savings to our clients. Memorial prices are now at a cheaper level than 12 years ago when the memorial side of the business was first started. We feel that the business is in a perfect position to expand with the expanding population of the North Coast and are able to offer a level of service which can only come from an independent family firm looking after a families individual requirements.
