Jamii's mission is to deliver high-quality, affordable language services while promoting foreign language acquisition and economic success in underserved communities. To support our mission we offer: L anguage services, such as translation, interpretation, support for language learners, and linguist training Multilingual consulting for community outreach & project management Community workshops & professional development seminars We hope that our online fellowship will provide an opportunity to build community and celebrate the strength of our unified voices. We'll also keep you updated about what's going on in the Jamii (remember Jamii means community) with a central focus on multilingual social justice advocacy, multilingual education and community engagement activities taking place around the globe. In addition, much of the content will deal with the intersections of identity, as they relate to language, academic achievement, and class.
