Java Biocolloid

Java Biocolloid is a sister company of Hakiki Donarta group; specializing in the production and formulation of Hydrocolloids that are mostly extracted from seaweeds and other plant materials. The factory is located in east Java - a very strategic area for the development of products based on seaweed; of which Indonesia is the largest producer in the world. Our core business is the production of agar-agar (extracted from Gracilaria spp and Gelidium spp). Besides agar-agar production, Java Biocolloid also developed JB Stabilizers Series - a full range of food stabilizers based on specific mixtures of Agar-agar, Konjac Glucomannan, Pectins, Guar Gum, Tara gum, etc.
