Jo Jenkins has served as Chair of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Family Law Foundation. Jo Jenkins and Lynn Kamin have both served as President of the Houston Bar Association Family Law Section and Lynn Kamin is the former Chair of the Houston Bar Foundation. Lynn has also served as President of the Burta Rhoads Raborn Family Law Inns of Court. In 1995, Jo Jenkins received the David Gibson Award for Professionalism and Excellence in the practice of Family Law, presented annually by the Gulf Coast Family Law Specialists. Lynn Kamin received the prestigious David Gibson Award in 2004. Jo Jenkins and Lynn Kamin have all been chosen by their peers to be included in the Best Lawyers in America by Best Lawyers; Jo Jenkins since 1998 and Lynn Kamin since 2005. Jo Jenkins and Lynn Kamin were also recognized as Texas Super Lawyers by a Thomson Reuters business published by Texas Monthly magazine each year since the inception of the award in 2003. Both Lynn Kamin and Jo Jenkins have been selected as one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Texas by a Thomas Reuters business published by Texas Monthly magazine; Lynn received the honor from 2006 through 2012 and Jo received the honor in 2004 and 2007 through 2010.
