William Jessup University

William Jessup University's tradition of academic excellence began in 1939, when it was founded as the San Jose Bible College. Nearly 80 years later, the university is fulfilling its mission of educating transformational leaders for the glory of God through a Christ-centered liberal arts education. Jessup serves over 1,500 undergraduate and graduate students at its San Jose and Rocklin campuses that host over 20 degree majors and over 50 programs. Their academic programs prepare students to engage in a lifelong pursuit of knowledge, character formation, and service to their local and global communities. William Jessup University is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), one of six regional associations that accredit public and private schools, colleges, and universities in the United States. Jessup is also accredited by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) to offer the preliminary multiple and single subject credential programs.
