Jive Investments
Jive Investments ("Jive") is a fully dedicated investment and advisory company for the Latin American region, which functions as a fully integrated NPL platform focused on originating, structuring and servicing investment portfolios in the distressed credit market in Brazil and the Latin America region. Currently, Jive's platform manages a portfolio of R$2.9bn in non-performing credits, including corporate and retail loans. Jive has made the following investments since it commenced activities in 2010: In December 2010, Jive acquired the remaining Brazilian assets from the estate of Lehman Brothers, a face value of approximately R$815 million. The transaction was public and had the approval of a US bankruptcy court; In February 2012, Jive acquired its first consumer NPL portfolio, with an UPB of R$1 billion; In May 2012, Jive acquired two corporate NPL portfolios with a combined UPB of R$90 million, as well as a consumer portfolio with an UPB of R$360 million; In June 2012, Jive acquired another consumer portfolio with an UPB of R$125 million; In September 2012, Jive acquired a portfolio of distressed corporate loans and foreclosed real estate assets of a mid-sized bank with a face value of approximately R$132 million; In November 2012, Jive concluded the acquisition of two corporate NPL portfolios with R$325 million of face value from a US investor, originated by two large Brazilian banks; In June 2013, Jive acquired a small corporate NPL portfolio with R$24 million of face value from a mid-sized bank.
