Jordan Bromine

JBC is Jordan's first and only producer and manufacturer of bromine and bromine derivatives. Established in January 1999, the Company is a joint venture between the Arab Potash Company and Albemarle Holdings LTD, a 100% affiliate of Albemarle Corporation. Registered as a private Free Zone Establishment in Safi located in the southeast area of the Dead Sea, Jordan in June 2000, JBC employs over 280 people and is the first Jordanian company to become IMDG, ADR & IATA certified. Since inception, the Company has successfully established sales in more than 30 countries worldwide, and is also the first company of its kind in Jordan to become an authorized exporter to Europe. We are the medium that ensures that other products are safer, more resilient, cleaner and more efficient. By engineering chemical solutions and deploying our products to diverse industries and sectors that include agriculture, construction, pharmaceuticals, electronics, cosmetics, food production and processing, textiles and plastics among others; we successfully contribute to global markets.
