Judy Young Poetry

Judy was born and raised in Springfield, MO, where she met her husband, Ross B. Young. Ross is a professional artist, who illustrated two of Judy's books: S is for Show Me, A Missouri Alphabet and Show Me the Number, A Missouri Number Book. Judy and Ross lived in Tulsa, OK, for six years before moving to Wells, Maine. After eight years in Maine, they returned to Springfield, MO, where they lived for twenty-six years and raised their two children, Brett and Reid. Judy and Ross now reside in the Bear River Range near Mink Creek, Idaho. When not writing or speaking at schools and conferences, you can find Judy hiking, fishing, or gallivanting around the country in "Arlo," the Young's traveling studio.
