Juicy's Mission Statement: With the use of innovation and not complication juicy take freely available open source software applications and tailor them to fit the purpose and need of the end client. Founded in 1999 by Ian Strachan and Peter Davies after meeting and studying at Salford University. Juicy Media became a Limited company on the 20th of July 2005 and moved into its first premises in the summer of 2006, located at Myerscough. Later moving into the largest available office at Myerscough in early 2007, and taking on their first employees. Juicy then moved into the newly built UCLAN Media Factory in April 2008 and was accepted onto the successful enterprise known as "Northern Lights". Juicy made use of their largest available space and employed local graduates to join the team. Juicy stayed in the northern lights scheme for the full 18 months and, after winning various prestigious business awards and clients, moved to our current location based in Preston Docklands. We moved into our 1900 ft2 premises in November 2009 and ever since have been building a strong client portfolio of over 100 clients and an even stronger reputation. 2009 also saw the Juicy team win the "innovative business" of the year BIBA's award; we were against tough competition but we impressed the judging panel and received the award with great pride. 2010 saw Juicy grow to ten members of staff, and we increased our turnover by 33%. We held on to various prestigious clients and increased our portfolio even further. 2011 saw even further growth for the team, now eleven members, more clients and more pressure to deliver award winning results. 2012 saw the successful pitch and win of some major contracts. Allowing Juicy to extend its portfolio even further. Also a highlight of the year was being nominated and being the runner up of two prestigious awards. Now 2013 Juicy is pushing the web boundaries even further and provide complete managed solutions to many clients, this forms part of our very successful support contract scheme that has seen the businesses we work with increase sales, profitability and web presence significantly. Even through the worst economic climate we have seen in 35 years, Juicy and the team are stronger than ever and continually pushing the boundaries of web technology.
