KALE BALATA was honored with QUALITY AWARD by TOFAS TURK AUTOMOBILE COMPANY in 2010. In 2014 was honored again with PERFORMANCE AWARD by TOFAS TURK AUTOMOBILE COMPANY. Established in 1976, Kale balata has steadily grown to a reliable manufacturer of friction products for passenger cars as well as light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles for both Turkish and international markets. In recent years, through close cooperation with major international manufacturers of friction products, Kale Balata has been expanding its international market presence as a manufacturer of quality friction products. High quality friction products are the result of long term investment in research and development along with advance production processes and modern manufacturing equipment. In this respect, Kale Balata established a new plant in Gebze province (near Istanbul), utilizing a 12,000 m2 production facilities in 16,000 m2 land. To achieve highest quality standards of the industry, Kala Balata's R&D laboratories continuously work on new material and processes through cooperation with its customers and major break system manufacturers and automotive industry leaders. Kale Balata has become the leading friction products manufacturer with the most modern manufacturing facilities in Turkey.
