Kambrya College prides itself on being a school with high expectations of all students and all staff. The College offers quality pathways for students wishing to pursue academic or vocational pathways. Excellent VCE results continue to be achieved. Having achieved a VCE Median Study Score of 30 in 2013, we rank in the top 20% of government schools in Victoria. The College also offers an outstanding range of accredited vocational certificate studies in Hospitality, Sport and Recreation, Plumbing, Hair, Beauty Services and Automotive to compliment the VCAL program. Destination data shows that almost every student leaves the College with a valuable qualification. Kambrya College celebrates diversity. Students and staff originate from 38 different countries. We are building a culture that not just tolerates cultural differences but actively seeks to develop intercultural understanding and acceptance. Our new International Program for foreign students, together with the Intensive English Language Program, is growing rapidly. This program compliments our established sister school relationships in Japan, Germany, China and East Timor. Cultural visits and exchange programs take place with our sister schools each year. We are aiming to have our first group of students visit our sister school in East Timor in 2015. There are many exciting projects in the pipeline. Planning for the introduction of a Select Entry Accelerated Program for gifted and high achieving students in 2015 is advancing strongly. Work is being undertaken to establish 21st Century Learning Skills and to become a more Asia Literate school. Kambrya College actively promotes "internationalism" and the development of inter-cultural understanding. The College offers a range of excellent facilities including a modern three court gymnasium together with an irrigated soccer pitch, a two hundred seat lecture theatre, a full fitted Science centre, a VCE study centre, Automotive Centre, Food Technology Centre, Plumbing Centre , a fully furbished Hair and Beauty salon, and an expansive library. Works will soon commence on the development of a first rate, irrigated AFL/Cricket ground, baseball diamond and a pavilion to provide various amenities. The College manages a 1:1 laptop program and other ICT facilities including video-conferencing. However, our greatest resource is our staff who bring a highly professional approach to teaching and learning.
