Karamoja Wilderness Expeditions (KAWE) is a Karamojong founded and operated tourism service based in the Karamoja region with its main office in Moroto, the Karamoja regional city. Our main object and existence is to offer our clients memorable holiday experiences while creating economic opportunities for our people, promoting and protecting the integrity of the Karimojong heritage and conserving the environment and ecology of Karamoja. In creating opportunities KAWE will strive to preserve and promote the positive aspects of our culture, the indigenous art and crafts of the people in the area and improve their standard of living through eco-tourism.
