Karen Roses is a family owned business that was founded in 1989. The company has 6 rose farms in Kenya. The company is a well recognized name in the industry for producing quality roses all year round. The main farms are located at Eldama Ravine in the Rift Valley with a near perfect location and ecological environment for rose cultivation. At 2010m to 2070m above sea level, Ravine's altitude is ideal for rose production. The latitude 0º longitude - 40º east, virtually on the equator and just slightly east, guarantees all year round sunshine which drives optimal production. The average rainfall of 1100mm ensures the water reservoirs are replenished by rain water to last at least 4 months of the year.
