Kasiga School

Kasiga School

Kasiga is a coeducational residential school in Dehradun, affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). Ranked as one of the best residential schools in Dehradun, Kasiga School was established in 2007, conceived and conceptualized as a labour of love by The Maya Education Society, Dehradun, founded by a well-known industrialist, Mr. Ramesh Batta. In the creation and expansion of this residential boarding school, Kasiga has been infused with great passion to achieve excellence and beauty of form; where mortar and stone harmonise with the beauty of the forests and mountains, with fruit and flower, bud and blossom, birds and fish. Born of an overwhelming desire to make a school where children are comfortable with their cultural heritage and practices, while being able to adapt to the complexities and challenges of an ever changing world, Kasiga has managed to make a name in the education sector. The seeds of excellence sown in 2007 have begun to bear fruit, shaping Kasiga into one of the most sought after boarding schools in Uttarakhand, attracting students from diverse countries and cultures. In less than 10 years, Kasiga has carved a niche for itself. In 2015, Kasiga was conferred the prestigious "Green School Award" by Digital Learning, a leading educational magazine, for the project "Teamwork, Vision and Strategy Make a Green School Greener." Kasiga has been ranked among the Top 10 Best Coeducational Residential Schools in India by the Education World magazine. Kasiga ranked No. 1 Coeducational Boarding School in Dehradun and Uttarakhand, and ranked No. 8 Coeducational Boarding School in India (Education World 2016).
