Kauri Advisors

Kauri Advisors, formally JEB Limited, was formed in 1997 by its founder and sole shareholder Julian Brown. Julian has been providing advisory services to the real estate sector via Kauri Advisors and through companies founded by Julian in London, Kauri Investment Limited, and Berlin, Kauri CAB Management GmbH, to a range of clients including Institutions, Banks, PE Funds, Family Offices and High Net-Worth individuals. Julian worked in property in New Zealand until 2001 after which he departed for the UK. Julian operated under the brand London & Overseas in London undertaking a number of large value-add commercial projects in London, Poland and Germany as joint-ventures with various institutional investors. In 2005 Julian formed London based Kauri Investments Ltd together with NZ based Cullen Investments to leverage off the success of the London & Overseas projects. Kauri Investments, like Kauri Advisors, was a management company providing acquisition, financing, ownership and value-add services to the entities owning the properties belonging to the owners of Kauri Investments together with institutional capital partners. Kauri Investments specialized in commercial projects throughout Europe. In 2008 Julian formed Berlin based Kauri CAB Management GmbH with a local partner. Kauri CAB, also a management company, specializes in providing services to residential projects throughout Germany owned by the principles of Kauri CAB together with institutional capital providers. Julian, based in Auckland, New Zealand, since 2014, manages Kauri Advisors in providing investment, construction, financing, project management and portfolio management services to projects in New Zealand and Australia.
