KE pioneered trekking trips to the Karakoram Mountains during the 1980's and established many classic routes amongst the spectacular high mountains of Pakistan's unspoilt northern territories: K2 and Concordia; Gondoro La; Snow Lake and the Hispar La; Three Passes of Boroghil, being just a few. Sadly, continuing political and military tensions mean that at the time of going to print we cannot offer trips to this part of the world. However we've not forgotten our friends in the Karakoram and assuming the situation continues to improve, we hope to return to this fascinating country in summer 2003. We have had hundreds of enquiries about travel to Northern Pakistan and we would like to reassure both our clientele and our associates in Pakistan that we will be back in business soon.
