Kearsley Community Schools

The highly qualified staff includes 48 teachers, four administrators, and three full-time counselors. One full-time social worker and an instructional coach are there to support students, families, and staff. In order to meet all the needs of our students, we maintain one of the lowest administrator-to-student and counselor-to-student ratios in the county. We also employ an attendance interventionist and career preparation coordinator. KHS offers an on-site Michigan Medicine Regional Alliance for Healthy Schools (RAHS) school-based health center. Services include urgent sick visits, immunizations, sports physicals, nutritioin & exercise counseling, behavioral health counseling, vision screening exams, and other health needs. RAHS-Kearsley is open year-round to all school-age youth 21 years old and younger. You do not need to be a registered student at Kearsley to receive services. RAHS accepts insured and uninsured patients, regardless of ability to pay. The long-standing tradition of academic excellence, strong commitment to preparing students for post-secondary and technical education, and pride in facilities is evident. In fact, along with continuing to serve the residents of the district, Kearsley High School has become a school of choice destination for those in Genesee County, with approximately 300 students who make the choice to attend our high school.
